Kim Victoria Cattrall, born on the 21st of August, 1956 in London was an British and Canadian actress from Canada and the UK. Her most well-known role was as Samantha Jones on the HBO show Sex and the City. For this role she won the Golden Globe Award for 2002 for the Best Supporting Female actress. She reprised her role as the lead for The Sex and the City (2008 and Sex and the City 2) (2010) films. In the 1980s, she played leading roles in Police Academy Big Trouble Little China Mannequin as well as Porky's. The film was later awarded the Golden Globe award in the Most Promising Newcomer category after her appearance in the film Blood Alley.
